I get the MOST annoying issue. When I kill a boss and loot a chest, there is a chance to watch an ad to upgrade the gear. When this happens to me I get a very specific ad (in this case a soda crush saga ad) and when I click to close the ad (very careful to hit the X), it ALWAYS takes me to the store page. When I go back to the game, it acts like the app was closed, so the game restarts and I lose not only the upgraded gear, but whatever gear I would've gotten from the boss.

I was looking for a super grindy game to waste my time on and though I found it, even spent the $5 for the ad free game(big mistake). I'm at the end game, level 46 at which point you have to grind for multiple hours to go up a player level, which doesn't even do much. At this point the only way to get coins to recruit heroes is by doing a few daily and weekly quests and as mentioned in other reviews, the chance of getting good heroes is slim. Wouldn't be bad if you got more chances but you don't

There is only one aspect of the game that really bothers me. The pub where you recruit and level your characters is heavily rigged against you. It will 98% of the time, choose the characters you don't want, and there are many. Then, when a character maxes out at 70, it pops up in the rotation all the time, costing what little gold you have. It becomes virtually impossible to level the characters you want regardless of how long you play. Developers need to remove maxed out characters now.

The entire game is pretty mindless, not a bad thing, but recruiting at the pub looks random at first but is absolutely rigged. I can call out which one it'll land on before wasting 100 gold 9 out of 10 times. You can have 2 legendary heroes and one lame one you already have and never use, and it'll land on that one nearly every single time despite the odds. And those red crystals are almost impossible to get. I'm nearly evel 40 and I've gone through every dungeon I've found, and I've gotten 3

The game itself is great, however there are a few things that are not great and frustrating. 1.) The pub- at first its interesting you spend coins to unlock characters basically roulette gambling style. You are guaranteed to get repeat characters or the worst option to encourage you to spend money. 2.) The grind gets hard fast to level up characters and beat the next area basically encouraging you to spend more money. 3.) Ruby drops are so awful you have to spend money to level up skills

UPDATED REVIEW: I had high praise, but after about level 60 - so a week, give or take - this game became virtually impossible. The only way to eke out a level at all was to leave my game open all night with my heroes placed very specifically in a place where they could battle but not die. Totally stonewalled by a lack of progress, so I uninstalled. Bummer since I was having a lot of fun.
