Great game with sub-par controller support. It plays just fine, but you must use the touch screen to use the menus. Not usually a big deal, but with all the rpg elements, you are doing it a LOT, and it's a pain. Worse though, the on screen controls can't be removed. I was able to move them out of the way, but when it gives you a tip to do something, it won't recognize the action as completed by the controller so the tips just stay/keep reappearing and won't go away; extremely distracting.

This is SO disappointing... I hate to leave a bad review because I love this game. (If the issue is fixed I will update my review.) Unfortunately it's just broken. The game doesn't even launch. It's stuck on the Netease logo for like 10 minutes. Edit: Just bought a new phone, installed thinking it might work on this one. It doesn't. It shows the Netease logo, then immediately crashes.

Great port especially given the price comparison. I only give four stars because some things need work. One thing is the controller support. BT controllers can't navigate the menus and while not game breaking it is annoying. It would also be nice to have an opacity option for the virtual controller.

One of the best games on the mobile market. It may not look as good as the PC/console versions, and not have controller support (as of this review[?]), and it may not run properly or at all on some devices. But all those flaws are greatly overshadowed by having a metroidvania of it's scale and complexity (and music and atmosphere) on the go. Amazing game and an amazing price to boot. Earns every star. You will be, seriously, hard pressed to find a more enjoyable phone/tablet RPG.

Worked fine on my old phone. I bought a Motorola Edge, transfered all my games over. When I open this one it says it has no store key or OBB. Will not open and run. Looks like there is a way to fix it. I should not have to do it though they should. I do not recommend. Play it on console or Steam. I hate spending money on s*#! that does not work.

Runs much better than at launch since they added a 60 FPS mode instead of 30 only. Runs great on my note 20 Ultra Snapdragon model (as it should). My one complaint, controller support. They still have half baked controller support. Mainly the issue is you can't do anything in the menus with a controller, yet gameplay is fine. Why not just let the controller work with the menus as well? my experience playing with a Xbone controller via Bluetooth. Dead Cells dose it right.
