If you're like me and love Gears, you probably saw this game and were like, "wow! A mobile Gears of War game? Awesome!" You download it, play through the arenas and most likely think: "challenging but fun!" It's only once you reach the Leagues that you realize that all the fun you had has gone out the window. Instead, you face nothing but P2W meta tryhard losers that outrank and outlevel you. Only way to reach gold league is to fork up money or spend YEARS grinding for coins and pins. STAY AWAY.

Matchmaking is awful and unbalanced. Why am I getting matched up with another person that is 2 or 3 levels above me? They have more powerful pins and their outposts can take more damage. I've lost before the match even starts. Sometimes the Game freezes before the match starts and the only thing I can do is exit out of the game and then log back in but by the time I do that I've already lost. UPDATE YEAR LATER Still the same issues as I mentioned before. Fix the game! It would be a lot more fun

Love it but there could be changes. Too many high level playing low level players. Never able to get into hoard but maybe 3 times in the year ive played it. Just like any game, the ones who have money, have the best success. The famos 4...eg....Marcus, Baird, Coal and Santiago should have better stats and power than the bad guys. Those 4 made the game.

Played since launch. Stuttery mess with lag and disconnects, over a year later. No balance patches for around 2-3 seasons now, even though theres a clear set of pins that are essential in any deck. Most of the other pins aren't worth using. Very p2w, I leveled up since playing at launch but I feel for new players as they will be facing long time players or p2w players. This will make them want to stop playing or force them to spend money. Horde is bland, recycled events with poor rewards.

Inconsistent actions (poor programming) and cheating player base. Also, players will purposely drop in ranks too kill week players in order to receive better quality loot boxes. Everybody uses the same tactics. Most of the unit options will only hinder you. It's a grind too win a single match or I win every time. Just an annoying, irritating time.

Pay to win Garbage, good luck fending off anyone in arena if you decide to not put money into the devs coffers. In my first three games got creamed by someone that was obviously superior in pin upgrades while I'm using basic troops. If being dominated by those that pay is your idea of fun or if you are a "wallet warrior" yourself then this is the game for you! Edit: Yeah this game is pretty much busted. Just played a match and within 7 seconds my enemy had two Queen Myrahs, screw this game.
