I made a mistake and turn in the items before the game asks now I can't progress the game how many times I have played I can't seem to find the items to turn in again .What is the solution to acquire those items

I used to really enjoy this game but now that I have a new phone I have to redownload it and every time I try to, after it "finishes the update" I get told the server is not available try again later. I've been trying for over 2 weeks now so I'm deleting it and not playing it again. Beyond ridiculous
