On one hand this is an enjoyable story and enjoyed playing! The game has some nice twists and original ideas for hidden objects. I would have like to see more interactive play when putting the story together in he evidence based hob. It felt like being spoon fed suggesting lazy development of essentially a good idea. On the otherhand, the graphics are rather grainy and the mini games and hobs are very basic. The full price is expensive for the quality of graphics and rather simple mini-games. There's no bonus chapter, no real extras and it's fairly short. When compared to other games in the same price range such as The Room it's difficult to see how 9 Clues serpent creek is a similar high price bracket.

Well done game. Puzzles could have been harder. Also nice to have bonus perhaps short prehistory of how mysteries began.

Good gameplay. Hints readily available when you need them. Puzzle mix is fine. Either the game plays quickly or I'm getting better.
