About this app

This app takes "worlds" developed by the REND386 homebrew Virtual Reality community in the early 1990s and re-presents them in Google Cardboard v2. They have been rendered as close to the originals as possible.

REND386 was developed by Bernie Roehl and Dave Stampe in around 1991 and ran on MS-DOS on 386/486 PCs. Their pioneering work, together with that of the many people who contributed to the original project, is fully acknowledged.

Think of this as Virtual Reality archaeology.
