Absolutely brilliant recreation of the original 80's classic. I spent countless hours playing the original. Even playing with pokes to get all the Lords at the beginning which allowed for an altogether different, more aggressive campaign (maybe an option could be added for this as a variant game?). A minor niggle is the lack of save/load game. There is an undo (one move) and a dawn button, but if a character is killed overnight you have to go back to the previous dawn and move everyone again.

What a remake.. amazing.. loved this game as a kid.. and the app just revitalises Mike Singleton's memory.. it's an absolute must for Lord of the Rings fans, chess players, and strategists alike.. it is just amazing... Any feedback to the developers would be.. better zoom features for both the tactical map and the concept map... on a tablet its fine.. on a phone, can't zoom in enough to read the small print.. but that's me just splitting hairs... an absolutely amazing game remake.. and a lot of love went into this project.. Well done..

This is the one game I played to the end on my Spectrum (never quite finished Revenge). Of course I also made a beautiful map, which was I'm shamed to admit was what I enjoyed most! This app is a truly faithful reproduction of the original. Thankyou and well done for continuing to support it and MS's memory.

This is an excellent remake with useful additions such as a compass which appears if you long press the screen. Thank you so much! If you could bring back the rising and setting sun it would be perfect.
