While I commend someone for trying to make a traditional stealth game like we had through 2005 when the genre peaked with Chaos Theory, it's missing many basic controls, functions, weapons, gadgets, features & things we grew accustomed to back then & has a developer that doesn't care to add any of these things that are missing from the game or to tweak it to make it play better. There's only a few weapons to use which is fine in a stealth game but there's also only one stealth takedown. You can only do it from behind. There's no pulling enemies around corners, over ledges, there's no hiding above them & pulling them up or falling on them or anything of the sort. The developer claims the game is hardcore but it has the exact same stealth takedown as a casual game like Space Marshals 2. One stealth takedown = hardcore in the developers eyes. There's also no difficulty levels or anything else to give the game any replay value whatsoever. Told the developer this months ago & they still added nothing to make you want to purchase or play the game. And while the graphics look good, the game runs very poorly even on high-end devices which must mean it's very unoptimized. There's no reason this game should be running at sub-30 frames per second on the newest devices. The developer has done nothing to remedy this issue & has only focused on the PC version screwing over mobile players like every other PC developer does when they port their crapware over to mobile. The lighting & shadows in the game are great & also are used as a field of vision so they move with the player which is a really cool effect. But your character model casts no shadow taking the believability away. Very lazy. The biggest travesty though are the touch controls. They are as awful as you can imagine. Although other overhead games such as the Space Marshal games work just fine, in this you feel like you have no control of your character whatsoever while bumping into everything, not being able to get directly in front of a door to open it without trying over & over & just really feeling like your character is just slipping and sliding around the environment. This is yet another issue many other games don't have yet the developer claims this is an issue only with casual players & hardcore players love the terrible controls which is yet another cop out on the developers part. Been playing games for over 30 years but since I refuse to deal with the awful controls in this game I guess I'm a casual player even having played almost every game in existence since the early 80s. Never had a problem until I started using a touch screen but even those have been cleaned up over the years yet this product still controls as terrible as the worst ones out there. Must be cuz I'm a casual gamer, right? LOL. If you use a controller it works better but as with any other mobile game it takes away the mobility of the game & just turns it into another game that you have to be sitting down in one spot to play which means you might as well be sitting down playing a better stealth game altogether on a different platform altogether. Just reading other players reviews on the paid version & seeing the developer write everything off as it's the players fault & everything is just fine & the game needs nothing added, the controls don't need to be tweaked & there's nothing else wrong while blaming the players themselves after having given the developer their money for the game proves the game is not worth paying for because you have a developer that flat-out doesn't care about their shoddy product. A decent effort on the developer's part but very unfinished, underdeveloped & half-baked in the end. And don't for a second expect the developer to do anything but put up a stone wall when you bring up any one of the many many issues with this game.
