เมื่อเหล่าทวยเทพได้รับชัยชนะ ก็ได้จับขังเหล่าปีศาจและไททั่นไว้ในโลกกันต์ เมื่อเวลาผ่านไปความศรัทธาที่มนุษย์มีต่อเหล่าทวยเทพก็ได้เสื่อมถอยลง ทำให้ผลึกที่เหล่าทวยเทพได้ทำเอาไว้เกิดรอยแตกขึ้น เหล่าปีศาจและไททั่นได้หลุดออกมาก่อความวุ่นวายที่โลกมนุษย์อีกครั้ง ความศรัทธาที่มนุษย์มีต่อเหล่าทวยเทพจึงได้ลดลงอย่างรวดเร็ว เมื่อเหล่าทวยเทพสูญเสียที่มาของพลังไป ผนึกจึงถูกธรรมลาย มหาเทพจึงตัดสินได้ร่วมมือกับเหล่ามนุษย์อีกครั้งเพื่อที่จะต่อกรกับกองทักโกลาหล เหล่าทวยเทพจึงได้มอบพลังแห่งแสงสว่างให้กับมนุษย์ผู้ถูกเลือก ทำให้ ทายาทแห่งทวยเทพได้ถือกำเนิดขึ้น แล้วทายาทแห่งทวยเทพจะสามารถปกป้องโลกมนุษย์ไว้ได้หรือไม่....
