It's not a point and shoot game. I think it needs a controller to play it. I had to occasionally remove the phone from the vr headset to touch the screen to upgrade and start the game.

So well designed and thought out. Doesn't require a controller! Which can be good and bad. Usually it's poorly implemented, but in this application it feels natural to use your head! Loved it!
