Personally I played these games as much for the puzzles as for the story, so I don't mind the dialogues, it just paints a better picture.What I don't like is the cliffhanger I'm left with, We're led to think we'll find what happened with professor from the very start and then even after playing such a big game you're left with nothing in the end. No progress with love angle of earnest or mystery of professor! I believed they would atleast solve the dog's mystery but they made a humor out of it😨

Pretty graphics. Challenging/creative riddles. Even the dialogs that people are complaining about are actually enjoyable. It's fun to play!

So much senseless chitchat that you can't skip, unable to save the progress exactly when you want to, and not enough puzzles. Would have been great if they focused more on the puzzles and the adventure. The navigation is also time consuming.

Been a fair while since I've played a layton game but this demo/first case was exactly how I remembered. Mechanics have transferred very well over to phones from the ds and played lovely on my moto g7 power. Those with smaller screens may struggle.

The game is probably very good, but I never tried as I was unable to paste the password from my password app to link my device. Yes I could have viewed it somewhere else and manually tired it in, but that's not really helpful is it!! Uninstalled.

The puzzles are interesting, the characters cute, the UI well made. Yet, you don't play much as there are a lot of non-interactive dialogs and cutscenes.
