Difficulty is a little unbalanced for me. The regular levels are fun, but maybe a little too easy. The boss battles, especially the last two, are too hard. It seems that much of the difficulty is caused by the laggy feeling touch controls. Not responsive enough to quickly move, strike and avoid attack in boss battle.

Wonderful game, the art, how smooth it plays, and the story though I wish there was more. I like how you need energy to use your abilities and how you can recharge them, but what if your energy was drained by some of the enemies. Also the extra hearts and energy you collect throughout the levels seem to be a waste if you're already at max amount. What if you weren't able to pick it up if you are maxed out so that you could save them if you need it. I was also thinking about an enemy index.

Love this game, had it installed on my last phone, waiting for an update to bring forth more of the storyline.

First game and a good effort. Couldn't jump to land on the first column even double jumping no matter where I ran from or jumped from so I had to uninstall. Keep working at making games though. All of you gals who made your first game are at the beginning of a potential great paying and fun career.

A fun platformer, some enemies lack variation, the bosses too. But the hand drawn characters and animations look good, and the controls are well made. I hope that the plot gets continued at some point.

About this app

“Spectrum” is a 2D platformer, fantasy game in which ‘sprites’, small pixie-like creatures, are taking over the bodies of other creatures on Earth. The challenge is to navigate the different worlds to complete your quests and ultimately save sprite-invaded humans.

Play as Amory, a human thrown into a wild battle for survival with no memories of their own. Master your own sprite’s powers to complete missions for the mysterious Madame Boss and unlock the secrets of the sprites.

Spectrum was designed by Krista, 18, a finalist of Google Play’s Change the Game Design Challenge. In partnership with Girls Make Games, Krista worked with GMG’s development team to bring her game to life.
