Updated review: It's a really fun beat-em-up showing love for the history of the genre. It was released about a week ago with a few bugs and the makers were quick to respond to my emails and make most things right. The only problem remaining for me is with audio. While Bluetooth earbuds, I only get music, no sfx. Last time I switched mid-game from earbuds to phone speakers, all sound stopped. All my other games are fine. Puts a damper on my experience.

Fantastic! I've really really enjoyed most of the games by this developer, and they keep getting better! This is finally the fluid, polished title I knew they could make! Combat is fun, controls are pretty responsive, everything is smooth even when fighting large groups. The graphics are smooth, the environments dynamic. Love how the levels flow together - keeping you in the action. The best brawler/hack n slash/beat em up action I've played on the play store! Please add more for me to play!!TY!

great game studio makes a really great beat em up. quirky fun combat, comedy(ish) gameplay. callbacks to classic beat em ups. creative art, impressive framing. I've played one huge army battle/siege and the way the camera panned showing scale,.. "this is awesome." complaints? hard to figure out how to go to the world map and back to story mode, or switching characters. another big complaint is that I want more. more battles and sieges specifically. MORE Plz. Thx for restraint on ads too.

Just wanna give this a quick review after level 1. Full controller support for PS4 controllers. Smooth, fast paced combat. I LOVE IT! If you're a fan of the Golden Axe games, you most likely will as well. It's definitely a nod to Golden Axe. I find myself enjoying the way the combat flows in this game a lot more, though. Artistically, it reminds me a bit of Adventure Time, which is also something I love. This is a really fun game!

FourFats is my favorite mobile game developer. I've been playing blackmoor 2 a lot more recently though because the movement feels a bit strange. I played blackmoor 2 so much I'm sick of it. I want to like the game so bad, but it feels more like an adventure beat em up than action fighting game. When there was a blend of the two it was so much better. And the controls are wonky in maximus 2. I am going to give it another shot but might end up going back to the 4fats classics. 2D just feels good.

It's very fun and I absolutely love all the games that you make. I have a request though, can you add a sorting option to the inventory? It kinda bothers me when it's out of order. If you do I really appreciate it but if you don't it's fine because the gameplay is incredible and the graphics are stunning.
