I really enjoyed this! The atmosphere is great and the story is exciting. If you like narrative games with difficult moral choices, this is for you. Also the art and the music are very nice, fitting perfectly the fascinating and scary setting (Italy at the time of the plague). Looking forward to play the sequel.

I had an absolute blast exploring this game! The tutorial was easy to understand and helped me to jump right in and start playing. The art within the game was beautiful and really set the scene. I wasn't very clever with my decision making which lead to my early demise, however it became addictive to begin again and learn which choices would keep me alive. This was a super interesting game, I would highly recommend!

Amazing game, I don't usually like the style but I really enjoyed playing this one.. The BG music is simple yet amazing, the story will make you commit mistakes :) maybe the "wrong" option isn't that wrong at all :P Be aware of the screen touches, I had a bad time holding my phone and having it going to next scene/line/text due miss touch by my hand on it.. Cheers

The music and content are amazing. Yet, I find it hard to use the screen touching function, and it ticks me off that it didn't continue from where I have just played.

Life defining decisions are not so easy to make. Interesting game with non trivial story line. Totally recommend :)

In Tales of the Black Death - Italy you play as Baldasar, a young Italian boy, as he journeys through Italy in the Middle Ages.

Story
Hunted by the death of his parents from an unknown illness, Baldasar becomes an outcast and finds solace in the companionship of a traveling thief.

Together, they try to survive the unforgiving land populated with diseases, bandits and death.

A game of morality.
In addition to managing your health, injuries, malaise and infections, the game establishes its own morality landscape where the player has to make difficult choices.
Many of the choices you make will impact the story or the characters around you.
Beware how you play: Indulging in iniquities will diminish your morality and could lead to the loss of your soul.
