This is excellent. I got it for my niece to try and she loved it and so did I for the short time she allowed me to see lol the reason I only gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because I had difficulty actually getting it started. I looked at my feet lots of times turning the icon from red to green and vice versa. It eventually worked (In fairness this only took 5-10mins) but once it got going we loved it. Haven't tried again since then to see if the problem occurs again, but if not I'll update this review.

It makes an automated assumption as to which kind of headset you might be using and you ain't gonna have a chance to adjust it cause there is no option. So there you are with what could have been an excellent experience turned in to a double vision cause you can't tweek the distances between the two image. This was recommended by freefly vr site. Don't bother those who have freefly. It's a waste of your money. Otherwise I'm sure it's a georgous program.

Which could be a problem, however, The environments look as if they'd be beautiful, and I'd most certainly recommend it once things are fixed. The current issues I can see are that the app doesn't seem to load in your cardboard configuration. It looks as if it runs at the cardboard 1.0 one. It also looks like it runs at about 20 fps. If you are planning to buy this then keep these things in mind, however it looks to me like the developer is working on these.

You can already tell the dev actually likes this project. It's a fun and generally Zen first step into VR. Don't fall off the bridge though..

About this app

Escape into a virtual world of relaxation as you explore lands filled with nature, animals, and hidden objects to find. Using VR headsets really brings the Zen Forest’s aspects to life as you’ll be greeted by many animated and vivid elements. Let the trees sway in the wind to keep the sun out of your eyes or stand under a waterfall and watch the nearby wildlife. If you want to get out of the sun, there’s a very extensive cave to explore that is populated by glowing crystals and vast caverns that use full use of the virtual reality experience. Along the way, you can try and find secretly placed items or wander at your leisure. This game is about channeling peace so there are no jump scares or reasons to be afraid, even though the caves are a bit mysterious. Unwind, loosen up, and have a great time.

Built-in walking system but controllers are supported if you'd prefer (tested with sixaxis).

There are no ads or in-game-purchases. An internet connection is only required to download the content of the app. No added permissions needed.

High end phone recommended.
