About this app

O objetivo é resgatar os humanóides, que são aterrorizados por várias entidades alienígenas malignas. Para acumular pontos, e lutar pelo prazer de inscrever suas iniciais no High Score, o jogador precisa não só destruir as criaturas, mas também salvar os reféns que são carregados por elas. Com potentes feixes de laser, os aliens raptores devem ser aniquilados com precisão, para não matar também o humanóide, que precisa ainda ser recolhido pela nave e ser deixado a salvo em solo.

A nave Defender percorre a superfície de um planeta chamado "Humanis", utilizando um radar que escaneia todo o espaço aéreo horizontal. Através dele é que o piloto da Defender orienta suas ações, coordenando uma estratégia de combate e resgate dos reféns. Quando o jogo mistura esses elementos com uma overdose de ação da pesada, com matilhas de mutantes rastreadores e ondas de inimigos quase impossíveis, a sensação de jogar Defender é impressionante. Pode-se dizer com segurança que Defender vicia. E que ninguém com o mínimo de bom senso gamístico está a salvo.
