About this app

Go Girl is designed to be a gamified representation of solving real issues many girls around the world face.

The player must help the girl in the game to get to school on time by avoiding obstacles and collecting prizes. These obstacles include diapers and dresses, meant to symbolize unwanted pregnancy and forced marriage respectively. It additionally has catcalls as obstacles, representing harassment women may face. The player must jump over these obstacles, else will lose time.

To regain time, the player can jump for graduation hats, representing education, or boxing gloves, representing fighting back for yourself. Jumping up to a counselor, representing good advice, will create a shield against all obstacles for seven seconds in the first situation, and nine seconds in the second.
