A simple yet effective lesson in how even the most basic concept (title says it all) can be made into a somewhat addictive yet fun game. No in app purchases, small learning curve, but that's all it needs. Occasional advertisements (which is fine) and straightforward gameplay. The controls are very well done. The ONLY changes I would make are: 1) A short tutorial (I died my first round quickly while waiting for game mechanics to be explained, only to realize it wasn't coming when it was too late haha) 2) A slightly larger map. The jump mechanic is fine, it displays the animation but gives no purpose. Adding a couple crates that we could stand on but that break after, say, 3 hits would be nice. It would allow a chance to think for a moment. Zombies would continue to spawn but we'd get a short moment for forming some small plan 3) Minor background additions for ambiance. A couple gravestones and crypts would make it more immersive. The music, sound effects, and art style are perfect. The controls are also very organic and I applaud that. Too many games lose on that aspect. We control movement, shooting, and jumping in the best possible manner. Add a very small tutorial and BAM we can be engaged as we are PLUS know what's going on before some undead punk bites us lol. This game is easily scalable. I hope the developer decides to add more progression to the game. There is much potential here for a far more in depth experience. As far as what it IS, it was executed fairly well and has some entertainment value.
