This is my favorite news site. Coverage of a broad range of topics - all procured, written and delivered by adults without all the political narrative BS. Their embedded videos are the perfect length and well done. I love that their podcasts are also embedded in related articles. Well worth the subscription price. My only wish is that I had enough time to actually read all of it.

DO NOT buy a subscription to WSJ from Google play. I have lost 32$ twice doing so. After a few days I was no longer able to access articles. My bank was charged. I tried everything (uninstall, log out, reset, etc.) When I emailed AND called I was told WSJ couldn't REFUND my money or help me get access to my subscription because Google handled it. What will I do? Call Google for a refund? 🤣 RIPOFF.

I used the app extensively for years. In the last 6 months or so, it has been full of the worst online advertising including rapidly blinking colors. I let the paper know this can trigger numerous health problems and got no response. I was ready to drop my digital subscription when I checked out their website interface. It is SO much better than the app.

No news is perfect, but WSJ is one of a very few worth paying for. The app is free but the paper is a subscription product. More centrist in viewpoint than most mainstream media, which generally skew left. Taking off one star because for some reason the app, as well as many mobile browsers do not allow you to comment on articles, unlike the desktop website.

Sadly I cannot recommend subscribing. I subscribed last year, and recently wanted to cancel my online subscription, but they make it sooo hard to find where and how to cancel! I tried 3 or 4 times, navigating inside my account on the web, checking the FAQs, even the customer support chat. Nowhere I could find a cancelation button. Honestly I didn't expect WSJ to play these tricks, to retain subscribers longer? So frustrating... Just make cancelation easy like most other subscription apps!

News articles are decent. Getting bombarded with ads on a pay service is VERY annoying. If I'm paying $22 a month now, $40+ at the end of my trial service, should I have to watch ads on all videos and most articles? Very disruptive and annoying experience trying to get to the news. Please make ad free an option and give me some value for my subscription.
