This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing VirtualDeck Flashcards on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

A flashcard style study tool designed for students who need to study on the go. Create and edit the flashcards using a spreadsheet on a computer, or directly in the app. A flashcard style app with a clean minimalistic design. It allows you to organize your flashcards into categories (called virtual decks), as well as add images, audio, and import excel (or other spreadsheet software) files. No internet connection required to study your decks. You can type up your notes using Google docs following a basic format (see virtualdeckflashcards.com for details) and save your notes to your phone, and then study your notes on your way home from class, or heading to your next one. Image support available for quickly adding formulas or hard to type up info, just write it out, take a picture with your phone, and then add it to your card. Random card order also supported. You can add audio clips to your cards now as well (ideal for language study).
