OASIS 2019 promises a plethora of events and activities for everyone ranging from the Prof shows, Rotunda shows , exhibitions, quizzes, and a number of events related to music, drama, fine arts and fashion.

This OASIS, DVM presents to you the official OASIS Android App.


Here are the features:-

1. QR Code based sign ups: Every app user (BITSians and Registered Outstation Participants) can buy Prof Show tickets using the app. The QR Code will be used for entrance to various prof shows. They can also register in various events during Oasis using the same code. Clubs and Departments can form teams or register you for their events just by scanning your QR Code. No more keeping records on paper and excel sheets.

2. Ongoing Events : With Ongoing events you can instantaneously find details about the events happening in the next 3 hours.

3. Filters And Search : You can sort and filter events according to categories, dates, places, and can even search for specific events.

4. Notification : Stay notified and don't miss the buzz with the latest delivered to your phone via push notifications. Also we have a notice board, so that you can view important notifications later on as well.

5. Voting for Stand Up Soapbox: The participants in this open mic contest will be judged on the basis of audience vote via the app. So ensure that you have the app to support your favorite candidate.

6. Maps : Don't get lost on the campus and find your way to your favorite event with the Maps feature.

7. Reminder : Set reminders for the events that you don't want to miss.

8. Emergency contact: The app has emergency contact numbers.


INSTRUCTIONS for QR Code:

This time we are trying out a QR Code based system to register for Events during Oasis, as well as buying tickets for prof shows.

For BITSians, to generate your profile card with your QR Code, go to Profile tab and login using your BITS mail.


For Outstation participants, login using your allotted User ID and Password throughout the app or the site, which will generate your profile card with your QR code.



INSTRUCTIONS for wallet

For BITSians , irrespective of the amount added to the wallet ,the amount deducted from SWD account will only be that much that is actually spent by the user.

For BITSians, the money for booking tickets for prof shows via app is directly deducted from SWD account hence there is no need to add money to the wallet for the same.
