This is excellent and I dread the day that it becomes defunct in favour of the much advertised Sounds which is compatible with NONE of my devices, of which I have five. Hopefully the powers that be have realised that this is the case for many people and will keep it up and running. I'd be miserable without it (that's an understatement - please keep it going).

No stars wasn't available as an option. This app is, unless I am badly mistaken, obsolete and has been replaced by BBC Sounds. I'd like to delete it from my tablet which does not have enough spare space but I can't. I've never used it but understand that when it was operational it was far better than BBC Sounds. Why Google insists on/can't be bothered to stop updating obsolete apps I have no idea because I have several of them on my tablet and I'd like to stop them from taking up space on it.

I have used this app for many years and much prefer it to BBC Sounds, as it is by far more logical, intuitive, versatile and easier to use. Most importantly, this app allows you to view the full schedule of the channel you are listening to, or switch between and view another BBC radio schedule, without cutting out the current programme and nor does it suddenly switch you to a different channel at the end of a programme. A timer and saved programme function is really great. I love it by far.

I use many times a day, prob for a few hours total. Live it. Easy to find things i want to listen to, brilliant alarm clock, like the look of it, reliable, have been using it gor years. Tried BBC Sounds for a few days which was a massive regression in functionality, slow, crashed, hard to navigate. Came back to iPlayer, phew!

Excellent app, please don't remove it. This has evolved over the years into an intuitive, easy to use and robust app. I hear rumours we may soon be forced to use the awful Sounds app. Why? Why remove something that works so well? Maybe it's time I stopped paying my licence fee. Radio is about the only thing on the BBC of value if you ask me.

6Music 5 Live World Service I am a person who enjoys live radio more than podcasts and there are no shows I feel that I have to listen to, it is all about a connection to the UK since I live in China. I did try to. Download the "New improved Sounds" having been using this for some years prior, and. I did not find Sounds to be user friendly at all. I will not be happy if this is taken out of service.
