This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing pRRAPID eBook LITE on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

The pRRAPID eBook LITE (Paediatrics - Recognising and Responding to Acute Patient Illness and Deterioration) is used in a blended learning approach to teaching the pRRAPID programme at the University of Leeds, UK.

This LITE version of the pRRAPID eBook requires internet connection to view all videos. The LITE version of pRRAPID links to videos so as to reduce its size on your mobile device. Each video is between 0.7-12.8 MB and will be downloaded individually each time you select to view a video. This eBook links to 28 videos with a total download size of 130 MB.

The pRRAPID eBook has been developed as a learning tool to assist medical students, junior doctors and all other healthcare professionals in recognizing and responding to the acutely ill child. pRRAPID does not cover how to manage trauma to children.
