Window to Infinity – Year of Faith

I am inviting you to a great adventure!

On the 11th of October, Pope Benedict announced the beginning of the Year of Faith!

I am convinced that the weakness and uncertainty of the faith of people of our days can be found at the root of all of our troubles, of our problems, our crisis. I think that we should not scourge unbelief, and we shouldn’t fight blindly the distorted superstitions, but we should formulate nicely and clearly the basic teachings of our faith, and we should humbly make it accessible for everybody. In the light of the revelation, the Church has formulated and the saints have rippled thousands of years old truths.

The task of the Church is to put nicely and understandably these truths on a nicely set table.

Four years ago the book “Window to Infinity” was born. Following the lines of our ancient Christian Credo, I tried to make visible everything that we Christians believe and confess. Of course I am aware of the fact that only a handful of dust is trying to explore infinity, but with the support and encouragement of many people, I am daring to divide the content of this book (sold in 50.000 copies) for 365 days, and to share this daily texts on our website www.magnificat.ro, and also at a separate Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/HitEve. We wish to make accessible these texts on mobile phones. Our aim is, that everybody who is interested in this topic, could access the book “Window to Infinity”, and if he/she wishes, he/she could also comment, ask questions or share the thoughts with his/her friends.

In the name of the Church announcing the Year of Faith, I am inviting you for a great adventure: to study our faith, and for a humble and tranquil discussion about it! Humanity has already settled so many white spots. I am encouraging you that we shall roam our supernatural world, as much as it is possible for human beings living on earth. For discovering Infinity, for roaming the Infinite beauty, goodness and wisdom we need infinite time, but we shall bravely start walking on the road. We shall not be afraid, because God has invited us for this adventure. So we believe that this discovery trip is possible for the humans aspiring to immortality.

It is a great challenge to start with this on Facebook. I haven’t seen any examples of this, so we don’t know that who will sit down around our nicely set table, and what kind of companionship will develop around this table. I trust the creator God and also the kindness and goodwill of people, so with great bravery and total openness towards everybody we start on the road leading towards Infinity, lit by the flames of our living faith!
