This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing SafeWalk on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.

I called SafeWalks after requesting a walk off of the app to verify if they had received my request, and they said they hadn't. It's just easier and more reliable to give them a call. Sometimes apps don't make things easier. The UI isn't bad, though. A noble effort.

About this app

The application accepts in fields for name, netID, longitude and latitude values for location, and a phone number. This information is then sent to a server which will be sent to a student patrol officer.
