روش کدینگ چیست؟
تاکنون روش‌های یادگیری و روش‌های گوناگونی بمنظور تسریع یادگیری (که به روش‌های یادافزا نیز شهرت دارند) شناخته و معرفی شده‌اند. در بین روش‌های گوناگون تدریس و یادگیری و به ذهن سپردن لغات زبان‌های خارجه که ارجح‌تر از روش فراگیری به کمک معادل یا ترجمه در زبان مادری شناخته شده‌اند، دو روش یادگیری به کمک تصویر و یادگیری به کمک کلمات کلیدی یا کلیدواژه‌های یادافزا به عنوان مؤثرترین و عملی‌ترین روش‌های یادگیری، و بخاطر سپردن واژه‌های جدید در آموزش زبان‌های خارجه توسط محققین زبان‌شناس معرفی و تأیید شده‌اند. یکی از این روش‌ها که از زبان مادری زبان‌آموز بهره می‌جوید و رسماً Keyword Method یا به صورت تحت‌الفظی روش کلیدواژه‌ای (Atkinson و Raugh) نام گرفته است، در حال حاضر، بین زبان‌آموزان فارسی زبان به یادگیری لغات به روش کدینگ یا کدبندی شناخته شده و از محبوبیت بالایی برخوردار می‌باشد.
