Works as a total and simple remote replacement for my Samsung TV. Only shows me an ad once in a while on the settings menu. Connected the first time and every time. This app is worth $2 yet it is FREE. It is a complete remote replacement. The creator has made the world a better place. This app is what all apps should aspire to be: Perfect.

The only one I could find that worked reliably. Edit: it worked before, and now won't connect. The ads cover the remote's status (searching, pairing, connected) so I don't know what it's doing. Edit 2: it works again! Bumped to 3, let's see if it keeps going. And ads were moved. Edit 3: working perfect! A+, team, thank you.

This app came in handy. My Samsung remote control to my TV broke. So until I buy a new one I've been using this app. It responds well when you hit the buttons, and it connects to your TV easliy. Highly recommend if you need a controller for the moment until you get an actual replacement.

Just downloaded but I have used my husband's Wi-Fi Samsung app remote and it definitely comes in handy especially since I cannot seem to find my remote right now and it is how I watch my Netflix and HULU. So I am definitely grateful that there is an app and I can use to watch my TV when my actual remote is missing.

Started pairing automatically and worked immediately. Only issue is that you have to be able to allow the access on your TV, and ours doesn't seem to have any buttons to perform that without the remote, but that seems like a reasonable security feature. Fortunately we have an older Samsung TV in another room, and the remote worked with our new one to allow this app access. This app actually matches our older remote visibly, but the app seems to work fine with our newer TV.

This remote app works perfectly with my Samsung 65" Curved TV. However, a large hiccup I discovered was that, for my case, I needed the actual remote to press the "allow Android remote" option that shows up on the TV before the pairing can be completed. I'm not sure if this is the case for everyone, but it really defeats the purpose of the remote app since my remote was broken and was unable to complete the pairing. Have to pair anytime my phone turns off too. Makes this app useless at times.
