Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Big Yaps on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Using LDPlayer

  1. Download and install LDPlayer from https://www.ldplayer.net.
  2. Drag the APK/XAPK file directly into LDPlayer.

Very useful app. Ok i didn't know that swipe will work at the track counter. But it will be very easy if it worked anywhere in the top half screen. And you can make like button accessible when press and hold near track counter (Hidden Album art) like in main ui skin.

About this app

Special skin with extra large buttons and minimised layout. This skin shows large play buttons displayed in the middle of the screen. Albumart is not visible and blur is set by default
It has many configurable elements:
+ Over 100 colours to chose from
+ switch off album blur background so that the selected background colour shows
+ select circle or square shape around labels
+ select the colour of text to be used throughout the app
+ select the colour of track and Album/Artist
+ Set different fonts for app, track title and album/artist
+ size the text from small to large
+ set the colour of icons
+ set colour of circles/squares
+ set the colour of the navigation bar icons
+ set background colour of android navbar and statusbar, including transparent
+ select the background colour of the navigation bar
+ select the colour of the circles or squares around buttons
+ select the overall background colour
+ a choice of sets of several different play buttons
+ a choice of different types of knobs used in the equaliser screens

Important notes:
1. I am no M1cros0ft, G00gl3 or Abble so do not have an unlimited amount of resources to make this app "industry strength". There is just one developer!! As a result you may find some bugs or misalignments.
If this is the case, please do not leave negative feedback but contact me instead by email with some screenshots. I will then try and correct it.

Re release of the app. It has been totally rewritten, using all of the features available.
This release may still not be perfect but if this is the case, send me a screenshot with make and model so I can fix it.
