Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Eva Live on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.

About this app

The Eva Live application was developed by Singapore Management University (SMU)’s School of Information Systems (SIS), LiveLabs Urban Lifestyle Innovation Platform for the SMU Students and Faculty. It provides functionality that assigns a student’s and Faculty member’s term course enrolments and builds a class list and calendar based on the class/exam timetables. Class, General Forums and Messaging features allow for easy communication and sharing of ideas between students and Faculty members. Class forums are automatically setup without any need for entering any personal information. It also includes features like event creation, syncing phone calendars, games, quizzes that also make the application more interactive and fun. Planned future features include facilities booking and club events.
