I got what I needed, but there is one problem though. OS module is not working. Can you help me with it or suggest another module for such operations? I used to web scraping for magnet links and open them directly in peer to peer client by using os.startfile() method. this module is not working in phone. device-Redmi 4

There I was, thinking I'd have to learn java to do something interesting on my S4, and then along comes pydroid. Very easy to get up and running. My S4 only has 16GB, so I want the libraries to go on the SD card, but I don't know how to do that. Symlinks? Config? I do not, however, want to root my phone. Suggestions welcome.

had a hard time with non working code. until i saw, that this apps supports only p2. py learners and their trouble... should be clearer in the app name. beside this, the app looks like a nice powerful environment.

Can there be an option for creating a shortcut from home screen to open/run a particular file. That will save the trouble of opening the app, opening the file and then running it.

I'm laughing at your response to Ashkay Kumar's noticement. This oughtta be a fun change of pace. If I encounter any bugs or whatnot, I will let you know! 😊

It lacks multiple terminal windows. Other than that, it has everything. Pip, additional libraries, shell, terminal... Yeah. I wanted to move my minimalistic server-client program (it works!) to Android but found out I'm unable to because of something that simple. I've tried to somehow use your Python interpreter with libraries on other terminal but failed to do so so I had to use one interpreter for coding and another one for running, which, obviously, isn't good for more sophisticated codes. Any ideas? I'll also email you soon (probably) but maybe I'm missing something in the terminal's settings...

About this app

Pydroid is the most easy to use and powerful Python 2 IDE for Android.

Features:
- Offline Python 2.7 interpreter: no Internet is required to run Python programs.
- Full-featured Terminal Emulator, with a readline support (available in pip).
- Pip package manager and a custom repository for prebuilt wheel packages for heavy libraries, such as numpy, scipy, matplotlib, scikit-learn and jupyter.
- Tkinter and pygame now available.
- Examples available out-of-the-box.
- Built-in C, C++ and even Fortran compiler designed by n0n3m4, an author of C4droid, specially for Pydroid. It lets Pydroid build any library from pip, even if it is using native code. You can also build & install dependencies from a command line.
- Cython support.
- PDB debugger with breakpoints and watches.
- Kivy graphical library with a shiny new SDL2 backend.
- PyQt5 support available in Quick Install repository along with matplotlib PyQt5 support with no extra code required.

Editor features:
- Code prediction, auto indentation and real time code analysis just like in any real IDE. *
- Extended keyboard bar with all symbols you need to program in Python.
- Syntax highlighting & themes.
- Tabs.
- Enhanced code navigation with interactive assignment/definition gotos.
- One click share on Pastebin.

* Features marked by asterisk are available in Premium version only.

Quick manual.
Pydroid requires at least 210MB free internal memory. 250MB+ is recommended. More if you are using heavy libraries such as scipy.
To run debug place breakpoint(s) clicking on the line number.
Kivy is detected with “import kivy”, “from kivy“ or "#Pydroid run kivy”.
PyQt5 is detected with “import PyQt5”, “from PyQt5“ or "#Pydroid run qt”.
The same for sdl2, tkinter and pygame.

The list of libraries we are NOT planning to add:
- Tensorflow
- OpenCV
