Founded on April 25, 2018, Radio 98 Ipatinga arrived in the Vale do Aço region with a proposal to bring to the listener entertainment, awards and lots of music!
Initially as a Transamérica affiliate, Rádio 98 Ipatinga was soon gaining the audience.

However, feeling the need to get closer to the listener, the Juninho Araújo Group decided to leave a network station and launch a local brand that would get even closer to our audience. Then born on 9/21/19 the Radio 98 Ipatinga.

Playing the greatest hits of the sertanejo, the pagoda and the big names of national music, Rádio 98 Ipatinga proposes to bring to its listeners the most performed songs in Brazil.

Always seeking to make different promotions Radio 98 Ipatinga draws prizes all the time in its programming. We are the official broadcaster for the biggest awards and radio shootings in the region.
