Using BlueStacks

About this app

UCHI, Es un aplicativo informático (SO Android) hecho en Iquitos Perú. que facilita a los niños de 3 a 5 años de edad el aprendizaje de la lengua Wampis a través de sonidos e imágenes. Entre los contenidos relevantes tenemos las vocales, consonantes, los números, la familia, los colores, frutas, animales y expresiones.

Esta app está orientada a servir de instrumento para revitalizar la lengua en las nuevas generaciones de amazónicos.

Las poblaciones Wampis habitan principalmente en la zona norte de los departamentos de Amazonas y Loreto, cerca de la frontera con Ecuador. Según datos obtenidos por el Ministerio de Cultura, la población de las comunidades Wampis se estima en 15, 546 personas.

Según el Documento Nacional de Lenguas Originarias del Perú, esta lengua se encuentra en estado de Revitalización, por decisión de sus propios hablantes. Sin embargo estos esfuerzos aún son insuficientes si tenemos en cuenta las limitaciones del sistema educativo bilingüe
