Save the Children , Bal Raksha Bharat in collaboration with District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) South East, New Delhi and NOKIA have developed an Incident Management System based android mobile application to assist a needy in most vulnerable situation. This helps reporting different types of disastrous and emergency related posts in form of pictures along with geographical location of the incidence. In fact, this is an emergency app deliberately developed to provide best possible assistance to the most needy in very much needed time. This app is directly connected with a Desktop based application which is expected to be under the direct vigilance and monitoring of DDMA. This integrated solution provides several meaningful and lifesaving information including “Text and Social Apps” based “SOS” services. This informs citizen and Govt. officer about the probability and scale of disasters and help forming an appropriate action in least possible time to mitigate the risk.
