I really enjoy this app as a way to involve the community in surveying for insects, animals and plants. Users get to help identify specimens and compare photos and known range from a quite inclusive database. ** One thing that to would love to see, is the RG (research grade) marking on personal entries. The marking shows up in the explore platform, but to see if your own contribution has been accepted as research grade, you have to click on it and scroll to the section. I

great app! a bit easier to navigate than the website, though it has fewer options (like following inat users). it's fun to add annotations to other observations that are missing some. maybe that is just because i am incredibly autistic. also, some genera pages with their automatically displayed wikipedia articles show the wrong article! i found no way to report the problem. example: genus Nepa shows an article about the village and market center in nepal.

Pretty good app. I gave it 4 stars because it's still glitchy on my pixel 7. I keep getting a message to confirm my email and change my password. After making the necessary changes, the app doesn't save my info, even though the developers claimed to have fixed this issue with the 9/5/23 update.

iNaturalist is such an amazing thing, and I cannot express how grateful I am that it exists. That being said, the app in its current state is incredibly buggy (no pun intended). It crashes reliably when I ID for more than 5 minutes. There are also many features that should be added, such as the ability to follow friends. I love iNaturalist, and this app could be so much better.

Such a helpful learning tool. Some bugs need fixing. I have suggestions. - I've run into the problem of the app deleting half, or even all, of my images once done editing. I could edit them outside of iNat. In-app would be nice tho. - Add a sort by date! Even out of order observations record the date. Let us see them in chronological order! Sort by genus, species, & location (maybe even a map) options would be game changers! Give iNaturalist a go! Stay wild fellow nature nerds. ˖ྀ⚘༄˖𓅩⁺.

The user experience could be slightly better. It's unclear how to join groups or subscribe to guides. I don't believe there is a follow feature for users either. Overall the app functions well, but it's rather unintuitive. My favorite thing about iNaturalist is that it makes you much more conscious of every living thing around you. Each specimen becomes a beautiful and amazing new example of how vastly complex our world is. Every organism plays a part in the world, no matter how small.
