This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Kytabu eBooks on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

What if you could get all the books in your country's education curriculum on a single device, at any time, for a fraction of the price? Welcome to Kytabu. Kenya's first and only curriculum content leasing application for students in the 8-4-4 system (K-12).

Kytabu is a leasing application for textbooks that are downloadable on our library or preinstalled for those that buy a Kytabu tablet that is affordable and accessible to rich, middle and low income families. Kytabu is designed to be simple, practical and interactive while providing a new channel to access learning material that comes as a requirement for children learning in a the Kenyan government curriculum environment. Using mobile money transactions built into the application, a student can access fractured content (a page, a chapter or a book) for various time frames (an hour, day, week, month or school term) and pay a fraction of the price if they got the book from a book store.

The additional convenience and ease of purchase, updated content and the rich forms of content including video, animation and audiobooks and learning games create an extremely exciting and interactive form of learning for students and teachers in any setting.

The objective of Kytabu is to help students in the developing world to leapfrog the limitations infrastructure and cost have placed on the access and use of learning content in a developing world context.
