I hope you all performed well on your AP exams this year. I wish the timer displayed the amount of time remaining for the speaker so that the monotone narrator would not interrupt suddenly during your "conversation."

I have the same problem that everyone has. The timer is a complete disaster. You should've shown the 20 seconds only instead of recording all the conversation and show a timer of the WHOLE conversation. I couldn't tell when to stop and kept talking but in every single question the instructions cut me off in my reply. They better not take points off for their mistake.

No indication of how long you've been speaking or how long left until it's going to beep. Much worse than the experience on AP Classroom. And while the app might be free, the exam costs nearly $100. Furthermore, the app is only on mobile devices, so I can't even try using it on my computer. All in all, it's a terrible app that results in a terrible experience from a terrible "non-profit". Also the icon is terrible. Why is it an ugly square and not adaptive.

While practicing on practice mode, I was doing the speaking tasks but I found it very hard to know how much time I had to speak because there was no timer shown on the screen (20 seconds for the first task and 2 minutes for the second task). Therefore I had to use a separate device as a timer to know how much time I had left to speak, and this was very inconvenient. I just hope it won't be like that on test day.

During practice mode there's no timer when you are supposed to speak which is really inconvenient. It would be better if the app showed you how much time you had left to speak so that when I'm answering I can structure my response in a way that would makes sense and sound like I'm actually speaking to someone instead of getting cut off. Also I can't even choose the language I want in practice mode, it would be way better if I could practice in the language I'm studying.

This app is just as bad as all the reviews claim. It took me 33 tries to open the app fpr a practice exam. It records during the instructions and they say "Wrap it up at the beep" which translates to stop talking now because we are moving on and you won't hear the next part. The practice is only in English which is not helpful at all if you actually wanted to use it as a study tool. The app recording is god awful! I have both my really good headphones with microphones and yelling comes out quiet
