Often showing "New model" instead of the model name, so I'm not sure which model is selected. Missing a lot of options. Sometimes crashing, sometimes not detecting radio at all (using USB cable). Spektrum cables are expensive, I was expecting that at least it will work reliably.

Bought a bluetooth adapter for this only to get a message that I cannot update the transmitter as I need to update the firmware. Looks like you need the usb programmer too. W$*&#F horizon hobby! I have dx12, dx9 and now I need an extra cable to update firmware. Poor form guys. This should be updatable with the app and bluetooth connection

Unusable, selecting Bluetooth device shows blank screen. Can't change any settings. Waited, started both at the same time, started the app first, then the radio, then vice versa.

Used on Motorola E5 cell with OTG cable and USB adapter. At first it did not read from Tx. I got it to work by turning on DXe once I created a model and selected it. It is very touchy about when you turn on the power to the DXe. Not a well written App. Not even close to being user friendly.Changes are made as you edit. No import/export buttons. No apply changes button. Definely not for a beginner even though the radio is a beginner radio. Once you have bought the radio and then spend 50% more for a cable, you might as well just buy the FRSKY Lite for the same price and less hassel.

Unusable for my DXe transmitter, as I need to update the firmware, which can only be done on a PC via their proprietary USB cable, which is required just to get the serial number(!), and then sign up for an account, and then register the transmitter, and then update the device, and then maybe this will work. Insane. The programming cables cost more than the transmitter! Although an American company, this experience w/Spektrum makes me consider a Chinese tx in the future...

2 star because it eventually worked but it was not ideal. First time prpgramming a DXE for Buddy boxing. App crashed frequently. Had to watch a youtube video to understand the UI. It would fail to conmect and complain the firmware on the radio or the version of the app. Eventually got the radio programmed. I would recommend a used DX6i instead of the DXe.
