About this app

The Spark 5G Street Museum features full-resolution, immersive AR exhibits, bringing to life the stories of some of New Zealand’s most iconic creatives.

Co-created with Parris Goebel, Benee, TEEKS, David Dallas, and graffitist Askew One, the artists hope their stories will inspire the next generation of Kiwis as they explore their creativity in a digital future.

The app has now been updated so you can experience these immersive exhibits without being at a specific location. The exhibits are best experienced in a safe flat open space like a park, backyard, or a large living room where you can freely move around. Users can experience and discover different aspects of the AR exhibit by walking in and round the space surrounding them.

The exhibits are best viewed on a 5G-enabled device. If you’re not using a 5G-enabled device or not connected to the Spark 5G network, you may experience longer loading times or buffering. Alternatively, try your WiFi if available.

Customers using a Spark mobile plan won’t be charged for data usage while using this app. Other mobile providers may charge for data usage and if you’re accessing through WiFi, data usage may apply.
