This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing Speaking Qiblat on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. About this app

This totally free app is dedicated (not limited to) for the use of sightless people to find the Islamic praying direction (qiblat).

To use this app, just open the app and it will start giving direction either "Kanan" (right), "Kiri" (left) or "OK" based on the phone's current compass direction.

For the sightless people, to fire the app, just launch your phone's voice command app such as Samsung S Voice (double tap the home button) or Google Voice Command and say "open Islam".

The app will be immediately launched and starts to give the appropriate voice guidance.

Although the app's name is originally "Talking Qiblat", the voice command apps seem to poorly detect the pronounciation of "qiblat" (tend to assume as "key black"). So I decided to change the app label as "Islam" as the tests made shows the voice command apps can accurately recognize the word.

Using "Settings" menu, users can set the target direction based on their current location (with the help of sighted people for the sightless people of course), for example 292˚ for Malaysia, 295˚ for Indonesia, 291˚ for Brunei, 48˚ for Chicago, 176˚ for Moscow and so on.

Untuk menggunakan aplikasi ini, anda hanya perlu membukanya dan ia akan memberikan arah samada "Kanan", "Kiri" atau "OK" berdasarkan arah kompas semasa telefon pintar anda.

Untuk mereka yang cacat penglihatan, untuk membuka aplikasi ini, lancarkan aplikasi arahan suara pada telefon terlebih dahulu seperti Samsung S Voice (tekan butang "Home" 2 kali) atau gunakan Google Voice Command dan sebut "open Islam". Aplikasi "Qiblat Bersuara" akan dilancarkan dan sistem panduan suara akan dimulakan.

Walaupun nama bagi aplikasi ini adalah "Qiblat Bersuara" tetapi oleh kerana aplikasi arahan suara sukar untuk mengenalpasti perkataan "qiblat", maka nama aplikasi ini telah ditukarkan kepada "Islam" agar ianya mudah untuk dikenalpasti oleh sistem arahan suara telefon.

Pengguna boleh menukar arah kiblat berdasarkan lokasi masing-masing dengan menggunakan menu "Settings", contohnya 292˚ untuk Malaysia, 295˚ untuk Indonesia, 291˚ untuk Brunei, 48˚ untuk Chicago, 176˚ untuk Moscow dan sebagainya.
