About this app

On this day shows you the most important historical events that happened on this day around the world. The database holds more than “124 000” events which are splitted in three main categories: facts, births and deaths.
You can choose whichever day you want by using the calendar. Furthermore, you have the ability to sort the facts in the desired order and to receive a notification in the time you decide, with a random fact for that day.

The app has its own browser, where you have the ability by clicking on the links to learn more information about the fact you are interested in.

Through “On this Day” app, you can share the events you want with your friends and family through social media, email and sms. We hope to discover new and interesting information and encourage you to share it with others.

If you want to support the app, you can remove the ads and unload all the widget’s functionalities. The functionalities that you unlock are to display all the events ( not only ten ) and to decide which category you want.
