Nice idea, flat out doesn't work, though. You can hold the green rectangle for a solid minute, and nothing ever happens. Also, so new, there are barely any users, and it's kind of hard to recommend friends to join when the app doesn't actually work at all.

Has potential but requires a LOT more marketing in every major country. I installed this MONTHS ago, have shared around half a dozen+ items and they're STILL dominating the 'global' tab. As an event/music promoter, this could be an amazing asset, if only it had even a handful of people in my area...

so much potential, I wish people would use this more

Snack offers a refreshing change from my usual social networks. I like to browse it because I get content that I never see on my Twitter or FB feeds. It's a big internet out there, and I'm finding more of it through Snack. Excited to see how it evolves!

About this app

Snack makes sharing with friends carefree. It's like a retweet button that works in other apps. Your "Snacks” go into a feed you share with friends, but no one’s name is on them.

See a something cool? Snack it to show your friends. It’s no names, no comments, just 100% “what’s the cool stuff we all saw today?"

How it works
- You’ll see a little rectangle on the right edge of your screen, that’s Snack
- It turns green when there’s something you can share
- You can Snack from Instagram, Spotify, YouTube, Reddit, Chrome, Netflix, NYTimes, Medium, and Twitter
- Press and hold the rectangle, then tap anything highlighted green
- You made a Snack!
- To see it, just swipe the rectangle left and a feed view will open
- Your Snacks are there along with any from your friends, and a list from the whole community
- Upvote ones you like
- No one’s name shows up anywhere
- Tag any Snack to a friends. We'll send them an anonymous notification with a link to the content.

You can post to Snack using any app’s normal “share” feature too.

It’s better with friends so if you like it, get a few to join you.
