Any time you try to upload a picture it says it can't because you must own it. All my pics are literally selfies. Idk . Cool idea for an app. Just know it's SUUUPER buggy. Will shut down. Freeze. UI gets glitchy. You will probably invest a little time into it and then get so frustrated with the poor quality of the app that you will delete it.

Whenever I write a long message, it lags a lot, and it makes my keyboard get stuck too. I don't have that problem with my keyboard on any other app I use, so I know it's this particular app's fault. Also, there are times I can't see the messages a person sends me even though I open them. I can see them on the web version, but not on the app version. Please fix these problems. I never had this problem in all the years I've used this app, and since two or three updates ago they started happening

The app works well enough and it's pretty streamlined. It does have some kinks though, two in particular that will probably annoy people the most. First, uploading images in conversations only kind of works, and when it doesn't, you can't get rid of the blue loading circle. Second, the search customization only kind of works. Some profiles you've tried to filter out still show up occasionally.

One of the best apps out there for not just language exchange, but for making friends and experiences also. However, there are minor functionalilty problems with this app. Sometimes messages do not refresh, and there are information differences made on profiles between changes made on the PC version and mobile. Also sometimes people lie about their ages on this app, which I know is not Interpals fault but it is annoying. All around a great app that just needs a touch up

I've had the app for years. I've made a lot of very special and close friends, but now I've upgraded to a new phone (Google Pixel 4 - not the newest phone, but it's an upgrade from the Samsung Galaxy S8). My phone and my apps are all up to date, but the app instantly crashes when navigating to messages 100% of the time. It's completely unusable and i have many friends that I've now forever lost connection to. Please fix this.

Great way to make friends around the world to exchange culture and language. If you have the phone app you can send voice messages. But keep them under 1 minute long or they don't send. I find pictures don't send well either. Most people move to other apps to chat like whatsapp after making connections. Be warned... its the internet so you get just as many trolls and flirts as anywhere else. But you can block people, countries, or entire regions of geography if you are particularly bothered.
