Whether you're musician or not this app is a great tool to listen to different chords within a key. I can vouch the info in this app is accurate if you want to learn your keys so maybe one day you'll be able to memorize them and play by ear? Listen to chords for inspiration while away from your instrument? You can find many uses for it. There's much to learn but this app can definitely help you get started in the right direction.

Pretty much the simplest and most useful app when I want to come up with a chord progression for my melody. Excellent samples that actually sound good. Most likely could be done even if you have no music theory knowledge. This is so great for on-the-go when you don't have a guitar or piano handy. So easy. Love it. Well worth a few bucks.

I can't play keys. I need to learn how to play and learn the theory behind how to play well. BUT this app gives me enough to hear chords out loud so I can sequence what I need in Ableton Live to make great music. NOTE TO DEVELOPERS: Please add a recording device for the pro version. If I have a song writing "happy accident" where I liked the last sequence I heard through the app, I want to be able to recall the last few chords. Without it, I'm left to trial and error to figure out what I did.

The concept is excellent but the M/M, m7, and M7 functions change only the selected chord and do not modulate the current chord set accordingly and therefore the set becomes "sour". I know this is open to interpretation, but that's the point, and it should go to the next in the scale simply and step through the options but tapping or let you pick which modulation mode. As is, that function is a bit weak though, thus for stars. Otherwise, quite nice app.

I bought the paid version of singing but can't find the bit where I can see the notes in each chord. I love the concept but I guess I'm missing something hence the lower score. Happy to revisit if someone can point out where I'm going wrong.

I love this app so much! I wish there was a way to have metronome in the background while I mess around with chords.
