Installation Instructions

This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing VampiDroid - VTES Cards - BETA on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

  1. Download the APK/XAPK file from this page.
  2. Install BlueStacks by visiting http://bluestacks.com.
  3. Open the APK/XAPK file by double-clicking it. This action will launch BlueStacks and begin the application's installation. If the APK file does not automatically open with BlueStacks, right-click on it and select 'Open with...', then navigate to BlueStacks. Alternatively, you can drag-and-drop the APK file onto the BlueStacks home screen.
  4. Wait a few seconds for the installation to complete. Once done, the installed app will appear on the BlueStacks home screen. Click its icon to start using the application.

Excellent. This is how card managers should be made. It has a clean interface, intuitive, and the ability to create a local chosen directory of images for the cards (instead of forcing them into the cache). Thank you for this app and making it the way you did.

Needs some alterations to the search filter for key words instead of names, ie Sabbat, Infernal etc or even card text

About this app

VampiDroid (vampidroid) is your reference app for Vampire: The Eternal Struggle™ (VTES) card game.

NOTICE: This is the BETA Version of the app. New functionalities will appear here first before being published in the final version.

It is a mobile management solution for your cards. You will be able to browse and search cards. It will be helpful as a reference during games where you may check the card text or during deck building.


How to setup the card images
=======================

VampiDroid now has support to show card images. Those cards have to be in the format: cardname.jpg
Where the cardname is the name of the card without any space or accented letters.

One place where those images can be found ready to be used in in the ardb project. There you can find a zipped file for each of the expansions released. Just unzip them inside a folder in your phone and in the Settings, specify this location so VampiDroid can find them. Note that you have to unzip them all in the same folder and specify *that* folder in the VampiDroid settings.

This app uses a cardlist from Vampire Elder Kindred Network site: www.vekn.net. I got a OK from jhattara administrator to include the cardlist database in this app.
