أثناء دراستي للطب كنت أتابع ما يدور في وطني بأسى بالغ وتغلبني نزعة لتقديم شيء لشعبي ووطني أستطيع من خلاله فضح ممارسات المحتل ونقل معاناة شعبي والتعبير عنه للعالم كله
استثمرت موهبة الطفولة الرسم في تحقيق أمنيتي وكان يوم اغتيال الشهيد ناجي العلي رحمه الله علامة فارقة في حياتي
اطلع على أعمالي فنان الكاريكاتير الشهير شتيفان بوباس وقال لي بصريح العبارة : لقد أخطأت المهنة .. في إشارة إلى أن مكاني الحقيقي هو الفن ، مما شجعني على التعامل مع موهبتي بمحمل الجد ..
