No where close to actual sitar. Take this as a feedback. The app leaves a wrong impression about the instrument, to people who haven't heard it. Half the people will laugh it off. When you touch the screen for a note, the sound produced varies around the basic note, without reaching the adjacent note. The user just can't play a single constant note. You could instead let the user "pull" the string like a real sitar. Hope you improve your app.
