I cannot get to turn my controller on. The app says my controller battery is dead but less than a couple minutes of charging the controller indicates the battery is fully charged. When i try to turn it ON none of the controller lights works. So frustrated!

THIS IS A FIX (WORKAROUND) FOR THE APP CLOSING ISSUE!! I originally purchased these drones @ a deep discount at Walmart and have found them decent for learning/training. ProMark is now out of business and gone completely. Hope is NOT lost! This EXACT drone was manufactured and sold under SEVERAL different brands!! The HolyStone brand is one that is still made so parts are available AND THEIR APP LOOKS & WORKS BETTER then the Promark!!! I was out at the park for some flying time and found out about the APP closing and was beyond MAD! I installed the "HS GPS PRO" app, selected the Model that looks like our ProMark GPS drones, and everything worked great!! The camera view (view while flying) actually looked sharper and I liked the layout better. You will have to turn Beginner Mode off again, and setup your distances again but its a better app in my opinion and it sure beats not being able to fly!! App for Promark & HolyStone are made by same developer. I would REALLY like to believe the issue with the ProMark app is unintentional but they have a lot of bad press. Hope this helps some others out there!

OK. I figured out why I and probably all of you -can't open the APP, or link up to drone. I shut off my mobile data link. Try it. Under settings select mobile network then shut off mobile data link. Turn on drone and connect to Wi-Fi. Open app and bingo there is drone camera in back ground. Then proceed as needed to finish the job. And fly away. Shutting off mobile data, It disables your internet link; which will allow you to view Wi-Fi camera on the drone. Phone will work, for calling but no internet connection till you turn it back on, don't forget. Have fun. Tom

Before i "updated" it worked well. There's a little bit of lag between the movement and when it shows on the screen. After the newest update, it will not open at all. Instant crash. Please, until this is resolved, make the last version available so i can go back to using it. Latest Android version running on moto z2 force. Only reason i gave it three stars, is the functionality when it was working. Lastly, please work toward a different video format. Videos will not work outside app.

Fil Farris is a genius. I followed his instructions and downloaded the HS GPS PRO app and my drone is completely usable again. He is correct in saying the app is much more user friendly than the original one designed for the drone. I love the Google map shot in the bottom left hand corner. When you enter the app, select the HS100 as the device and you should be good to go.

Sorry to hear that other users with much more high end phones than mine won't work. I have just a cheapo LG something or another from Wal-Mart and the straight talk plan. The drone itself works amazing and is super easy to fly. As a beginner I'm impressed at how easy it is to learn how to fly. Good stuff.
