This article outlines two straightforward methods for installing iControlAV2013 on PC Windows and Mac.

Using BlueStacks

I just installed this app on my new Note 10. It took several tries to get it to work, but after several receiver and phone reboots, happy to say it's working fine. I have a VSX-1123.

Spent a lot of money to get an Elite amp only to be controlles for a couple of years through my phone. First Spotify support was discontinued and now the app is useless.

Pioneer makes pretty unreliable receivers and this app only further proves pioneer doesnt care about it's customers or products. This app doesn't open on my Samsung S20 phone.

Like everyone else. The app hasn't been updated for new android updates and now doesn't work on newer devices. For an expensive amplifier, this is extremely poor service and I am changing allegiance to Denon/Marantz camp. Pioneer just want your money and have no idea about customer service

Been months now with no word response from dev or support. Joke of a company. The app wasn't even good when it did work. Now it's just completely useless with the Pie update. No updates for my receiver. No updates for this app. Time to go back to Yamaha or Marantz.

Completely redesigned for 2013, iControlAV2013 gives you complete control of your compatible 2013 Pioneer AV Receiver and Blu-ray Disc player using your Android.

Not only can you control the basic features of your AV receiver like volume, switching inputs, select the listening mode and power on and off. iControlAV2013 turns your Android device into an advanced remote control, giving full control (i.e. SOUND EXPLORER) of your new AV receiver, and in a fun and intuitive way.


Adjust EQ settings with just the flick of a finger. Access and control the receiver's streaming services. Rename inputs to personalize the app for your system. Review before-and-after room calibration results. You can even control up to 3 zones, all from one device and all on iControlAV2013's beatiful new user interface.

Other all-new features for 2013 include:
- PUSH PLAYER - stream music directly from your Android device, complete with album art and song info.
- ECO MANAGER - Access and control the receiver's power-saving ECO modes
- STATUS VIEWER - View the Audio/Video signal(input-and-output) information and Surround result image.
