Using BlueStacks

EASY way to edit kits and change sounds easier if you have an android, I'm using a Samsung S9 with a USB On The Go adapter connected with a "printer" cable that then connects to the sound module. If you are trying to use iOS, you would have to buy apples' camera adapter for about $30 and will work the same. So intuitive that I will upgrade soon to a dtx500 series module and continue using my phone with it !! :D

This worked great - made editing the kit super easy (much easier than using the buttons) and the app fired up without problems the first try. It's not even my kit (a rental) and it was easy peasy. I'd consider this app a must have for anyone using the dtx450 since the editing functions are so confusing through the hardware. I'm considering dedicating an old phone to just this function. Only complaint is that it would be nice if it did even more....like recording the kit or importing/exporting sounds.

Someone help me please. I have seen this work perfectly on YouTube but I can't seem to connect the app up with my kit to change it. I need someone who knows what they're doing to tell me how to do this. Until I can change my kits my review is a 1 star. I was recommended this by Sweetwater but I can't get it to work and apparently I am not the only one. Someone save me please

Works perfectly. But I thought it would have more features like, maybe, make your own presets. Nevertheless, it makes your life easier.

I got the adapters and stuff I needed but it still doesn't work. Why the heck is it here if it doesn't work with all Android's??

really good app. only drawback is not being able to customise outside the preset list. apart from that pretty user friendly.

Swipe to select any of the 10 Preset Kits. Control an extensive range of parameters from the rich graphical user interface, allowing you to fine tune the Yamaha DTX400 series to precision.

Create new kit configurations, assign new drum voices to each pad. Then take total control by customizing the parameters of each individual pad.

Enables access to previously unavailable parameters such as pad tuning, cymbal and hi-hat size. Access the Tempo and Metronome settings with a single touch.

< Device Requirement >
- Android OS 4.4 or later
- USB OTG compatible device /USB OTG cable is required
