Zenbeats is a mobile daw with great sounding virtual instruments ready to go. The app responds well to midi devices, and you can map a controller quickly. Without a controller zenbeats does the best it can. The synthesizer is great and is my favorite feature. Roland's mobile virtual instruments sound pretty impressive. The many plug-ins sound great. Zenbeat's youtube channel is packed with info and answers. I would love to see sequence synthesizer presents added soon. I'm so happy with this app.

Crashes..can't get it to work at all! Aug 8 update. Downloaded the update under the impression that it would fix my problem. It still crashes and I have yet to even use it at all. I couldn't be MORE disappointed.. This sucks! Aug 15.. I'd really just like a full refund. It doesn't look like I'm ever going to be able to use it.

It's a great DAW for mobile but the UI/UX could use some better functionality and is not always friendly with smaller screens, even if you have a decent-sized phone. The note editor is especially tough. For example, you have to tap and hold a note to move it, but that also brings up a menu that gets in the way. Otherwise, great app! Edit: Realized there was already a pinch and zoom for making editing easier. Not sure if this was added recently or not.

Updated post as of 3/3/2020 - Issue --> I don't know what happened to my review, I enjoyed using Stagelight, and the transfer over to Zenbeats was pretty seamless, do not know what happened on the last update, but this app now looks like it should be on a computer, as opposed to a smartphone. The DPI, is rendering for a computer, and not a smartphone.-------- Resolved----------> Thank you Zenbeats, for the quick response, the issue is now resolved. Problem solved.

This is the app I've been looking for to pair with my MIDI keyboard. I used FL Studio for a long time, but the instruments just don't sound very real However, Roland's instruments sound amazing and I'll gladly subscribe to Cloud for more, plus you get a fantastic sequencer, looper, FX, etc. Suggestions: please add the ability to turn the screen off & keep playing, also to minimize the app & keep playing in the background (cubasis can do this). Thank you very much & keep up the great work! 👍

I have a lot of desktop and mobile apps and this one is pretty underrated. Doesn't overwhelm you with a lot of unnecessary information, especially because on your phone you probably have limited real estate. I've had good luck connecting class compliant devices and using them as both I/O and MIDI. Is able to see Bluetooth MIDI from my Jupiter-XM even though the Android operating system itself cannot. I can import patches from my Jupiter XM and the internal synth (ZC1) plays them back. Not bad.
